They had a little shop at the Wilmette train station serving up coffee and donuts.

They just opened a breakfast and donut place in Niles on Milwaukee south of Touhy. Excellent. Great biscuit sandwiches. Good pancakes and omelets. Very interesting potatoes. They take potato pancake mix, chop it up into little pieces and fry it like a donut.

It is very inexpensive probably because they cut out labor by having you order at the register. Give it a try.
