New-ish spot on Irving Park near California. Anyone been? Looks like it's trying to be something between the old Pontiac on Damen and Delilah's/Cleo's? Leery of it as any place self-styled as a "saloon" in 2013--and doesn't have a hitching post and batwing doors and, oh, isn't smack dab in the middle of a huge city--is probably trying too hard to be something, or something.

Tho maybe the grip of fixed-gear bikes barnacled to the street signs out front count as chromoly horses.

sounds too hipsterish...
