Anybody ever been?

9/14 in Racine so I guess I'd have to get my travel papers in order.

My guy is organizing a trip. 100 brewers looks pretty good.

Going to Milwaukee Brew Fest July 27th. Went last year and loved it. Can't wait to meet up with Keeping Score and enjoy some craft beer.

Might have to give this Racine one a try too.

This is consistently rated one of the best brew fests going. I have yet to go but several friends go every year and can't speak highly enough about it. Really well organized and a really good time.

I have been.

If you really enjoy trying beer after beer, you will enjoy it.

I personally like finding 1 beer and a couch.

You aren't doing it right at these fests unless its a shit show. I've been to Ohio Beer Week and it becomes a shit show in no time and I have heard the same about the Michigan Beer Festival. Doing shooters of 4-8 oz samples adds up in no time.....especially when they are strong abv's.

Couldn't this quote be used for any beerfest?

I'm a little disappointed that I didn't get an invite to Boyd's wedding. That's the real story in this thread.

A CSFMB (screen name) receiving line has the potential to be hilarious.

Why did your friend (whatever Darko's real name is) dress up like George Jefferson? Does that guy have a paper bag over his head?!? Why are so many people not wearing pants?!?!?!?

This is Douchebag, Dr. Kenneth Noisewater, and Boilermaker Rick...you'll notice that they all share a fondness of genitalia....both kinds.

Do your wife and kids want nothing to do with you?

You seem to have a lot of free time on your hands.

I could use a guy to help me move some books out of my office next weekend.

There's a sixer and an old Juice Williams jersey in it for you if you're available.

Bruce Weber has been out of town lately.

I've had some free time.

My friends who go to this every year say it is awesome and they highly recommend just getting a hotel room for the night and calling cabs.

Milwaukee Brew Fest was great. Weather felt like we were tailgating for a Big Ten Saturday. Good turn out of Wisconsin craft brewers. Would do again for sure.

Why didn't you tell me????????????????? DAMMITT.

I was there. Had a great time, EXCEPT some kid ran into me, literally, and when I asked if the kid was ok, the father went bezerk and wanted to fight me. Thank God my better half got between us. I kept yelling louder and louder asking if dude's kid was ok, but the father dude just seemed too inebriated. Witnessed him leaving the Jägermeister tent just prior to this. Fricken FIB.

Every Friday through Sunday is a brew fest in Wisconsin, but point taken. Would have been good weather to
be sampling brews and having a good time.
