Suppose to meet an old buddy at this establishment later, anyone have any thoughts on this joint?

Love their beer. Food was pretty good, too.

Just try a sample. It is a strong brew but quite addictive. A description of all their brews can be found on their website.

Anti-Hero is my favorite of their beers. And become a beer guy already!

I like them.

I've never been there, but nice people. They are one of our customers.

The bourbon barrels have become popular. I think it just means they are aged in a whiskey style oak barrel. In any case, I prefer the stouts (heavy/dark) over the Ales in the bourbon barrel space. Their entry is very good.

I have two t-shirts, been to all of their events, and I'm getting married upstairs.
Oh, and Anti-Hero has been my favorite beer for a couple of years now.

The Cross of Gold, Wit, and Rosa, are also fantastic.

It's Logan Square, btw...

Well... so we spent all of like 15 minutes in this joint. It was a little too... pretentious for my liking.

It started off badly, i mean we probably spent $30 in the first 10 minutes at the bar, asked the hostess if we could grab a table, they asked how many?
"Five, but four of us are here"
"Well, let us know when the fifth gets here" as there are easily a few tables open at that point, it wasn't like people were waiting (besides us, apparently).

Look, if your staff is going to talk to you in a condescending manner, there is no reason to support your establishment.

Went around the corner to Logan Bar & Grill, far fewer pretentious assholes in there.

I'm sure the beer is good, but fuck Revolution Brewing. Assholes.

Had you brought the hat an beard like I said, you would have been seated immediately.

I had only been at the brew factory not the bar. Although they have a bar at the brew factory.

Sorry to hear about your Revolution experience.

Isn't this standard practice in almost any restaurant you might go to?

Not if there are open tables all over.

Exactly. Why not seat the four and let them rack up a tab of drinks and/or appetizers while waiting for the fifth?

Three Floyds is the fucking worst establishment ever. Great beer, but the actual people they have working for them at the brewery/restaurant should all be dipped in honey and set out in the desert for the bugs and coyotes. I cant even set foot in the place anymore, it just gets my blood pressure soaring.

I just went there last Saturday, and I thought everything was fine. I know it's small and there's a wait, but what went wrong for you?
