Place on corner of Clark/Aldine used to be Socca. Now serves "modern American" food. Over past month I've given this place 3 tries. Food is good but the service just isn't there. Waitresses have the personality of a potato, are very slow and was duplicate charged over 5 times this past weekend.

What is "modern American" food? Diner stuff? Guy Fieri stuff?

Flatbreads, "handhelds" aka chicken/fish/burger sandwiches, steaks, seafood, pasta.

Had the sense this place never had its shit together. Opened very quick. Knew the Db who owned the place there before it.

Has the sense of a guy who tried a little more of an upscale place who wasnt making it, decided to kill the old Corp. and strip the place down and reopen with new name.

Probably not on my list, if I want burgers, flat bread chicken. Vines is really good and always empty on non game day, with some great specials.
