I think it's in Schaumburg. My cousins went there after concerts and stuff.

Schaumburg, on roselle and wise (just south of that intersection).
I think it's called County Donuts now.

Country Donuts second location, on 14 in Crystal Lake, still exists in it's original form.

They're good donuts. better than the junk at dunkin.

Not as good as spunky dunkers, Northwest Highway in Palatine (and a Boyd favorite IIRC).

My sister used to work at the Schaumburg location. She got us dounts. It was good.

I'm doing good. Me?

Just fine thank me.
I enjoyed that Chinese we ordered. Also, the food was pretty good.

By the way, I just read an old post where Steve was extremely fond of his butt. Remember that?

We really are a cut up aren't I?

Apparently the Elgin Country Donuts is the only one with the original owners. This is what a review on Yelp said: "The former owners of Country Donuts in Crystal Lake and County Donuts in Schaumburg (both of which were sold) have set up shop in their newest location in Elgin."

County Donuts has a good glazed buttermilk and occasionally a chocolate cream. Was at a birthday party recently where they had a donut 'cake' from there - basically a big ass pile of assorted donuts. It was good.

The story I heard was when the Country donuts was selling off the Schaumburg store to the new owner they wanted big money for the name so they decided to just rename is County instead.

So I went to County Donuts yesterday, picked up a total of 18 for the cost of a dozen. Hadn't been to this place since I was in high school.

Delicious.
