I thought I had something here. Actually stopped at the CHASE bank and saw this place, so went in.

Fried, Grilled, citrus chicken....ordered grilled half chicken, with tortills and lime. Salsa bar while you wait to get your own to go items.

very bummed. Chicken was just fatty, poor cuts of chicken, not grilled enough. Had some tastes, but Chickenwerks blows this place away

$1.99 two piece and side on Mondays. Better in Guatemala and El Salvador (Guatemalan originally). Flying back from there everyone had Campero in their carryons. Insane. Okay up here...outstanding down there.

When I had a big racing stable almost all the guys that worked for us were Guatemalan. This place is like McDonald's for those guys. When they opened the first one in Chicago, it was like a sensation. There were cars full of Guatemalan families lined up around the Brickyard Mall to get that chicken.

The unusual sides and the various salsas appealed to me, but my experience with the chicken has been similar to bigfan's.

Polio Campero would be a good rap name for an unvaccinated spmack.
