It was inevitable, had to stop at the new pizza place in Wrigleyville. Looks like they have about 20 of them in various states.
Had the 50% off coupon, for the opening, so here we go.
Walk in and nobody is at the counter or anywhere. Cooler door open (nod to COOLER!) and yes, had the quick thought did I walk into a robbery. Few seconds later, the guy working walks out of the cooler and takes my order.
Order a medium, thin crust, pepperoni. $15.00...50% off $7.50....which is what the real price should be as small and think as this 'pizza' was. Pizza guy puts the stuff on and tosses it in the Pizzamker 3000 and in 8 minutes, I got a pizza...but 'Which topping sauce do you want?"....NOW I GET IT! They have like 15 sauces....I ask if thier is sauce on the pizza, he says YES, then i am good.
The pizza is OK for a bad pizza chain. Would never eat it again and I just wonder how and why these types of pizza plaaces keep coming to this city? OH YEAH...Small Business has been destroyed by the government and cant compete with a chain of shit pizza places!
i thought with a name like toppers and their decent advertising, it would be good. it ended up being the worst pizza i ever had... wait there was dominoes that one time...
just ate at pizza pit the other day. GREASY as hell, but it tasted ok and it didnt fuck up my stomach so i guess it wasnt bad
there is a real science to make a real pizza....
