I can't believe Hatchet started this thread. Grown assed man shouldn't need advice on this, but I'll try to answer honestly.

1. Really listen to her (instead of pretending). Let her vent to you, and offer her feedback. Take a genuine interest in how she feels about stuff.

2. Tell her how you feel about her. Women don't like to wonder or guess what's on your mind.

3. Go out on more dates. Things can get repetitive if you just routinely sit on the couch and watch TV and stuff like that. Take her out and do fun stuff so she doesn't feel like you take her for granted.

My lady does have her moments when she wants to vent, and I let her. But often times, she asks for my honest feedback and I give it to her. I always tell her that she may not necessarily agree, but if she asks me what I think, I'm going to tell her. She respects that, which is why she comes to me about stuff.

But the Rosie/Woody thing is correct in that empathy goes a long way. Just making her understand "Hey, I feel your pain" works wonders.
