Indeed. Economically speaking I bet they tear down the whole thing. I can see people avoiding the place even if they change the name, the owner the business. They could turn the place into a ice rink and I think they will have a difficult time getting people to come. If it ain't economically viable, it goes.

Show only horror movies in that theater and I bet it gains a cult following.

The market will dictate whether this place is a movie theater in one or two or ten years more so than anyone's sense of decency. Also, there's been a house on Gacy's old lot for 20 years or so.

Oh that doesn't matter at all. Fuck the moviehouse owner, the most important thing is to cater to a very few unfortunate folks with some actual connection to the event and the nosy and/or hysterical assholes who think because they suggest something it's automatically and inarguably a rational statement, entirely ignoring the obvious fact that it's quite the opposite really.

Market forces are one thing. Sideline assholes saying it should be torn down who have nothing to do with the event is something else altogether.

And as a side note, I'm not the one riding or fucking horses; that's the racist painter from Elmhurst.

You have been pretty vocal about this issue but calling someone an asshole? C'mon,now! Like I said earlier,I might have a problem seeing a movie in that place. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I don't see how I could ever go see a movie in that place. Not only would I spend the whole time thinking about it, but also, it does have a higher probability of a copy cat attack by someone who thought it was cool and wants to be the next one.

It's just like how I don't know how a single employee would ever agree to work in the new World Trade Center. I know it's safer, and a plane based attack anywhere is virtually impossible now, but it has a much better chance of being attacked than pretty much anywhere else in NYC.
