In other news,

Tyler Perry's "Madea" might have gone to jail, but the wildly popular movie character put Perry himself in a big house. We're now getting a glimpse inside the Hollywood Hills home that Perry sold for $11.25 million back in October. And we're seeing what kind of lifestyle Perry led: There's a nightclub with a disco ball inside the home!

The story doesn't say why he feels the need to retire from active duty after 16 years. if he served 4 more years he would have health care and a pension for life. It's the same as a Police officer. If you retire from Police work before you serve 20 years, you get no pension. He is only 35 years old, it's not like hanging on till 39 should be that tough. maybe he could get transferred to a job training young recruits or something like that which would be less physically demanding.

Yeah the military gets like 50% pay after 20 years and 75% after 30.

Upon further review still a sad story, but among other things the author conveniently left out is that the guy is eligible for at least 5 years of healthcare. When questioned about it the author said he was aware of it but didn't have enough room in the story to mention it. Nice job doofus.
