What if a person grows up in a world completely devoid of religion? Parents, family, friends, relatives were all non-religious.

How is that person supposed to know that the only thing that would save them is Catholicism? And even if they somehow figured that out, then how/why would they choose that particular religion over all others?

Can this person who has never been exposed to faith, be held accountable for things that would be strictly forbidden by people of faith?

God knows who is accountable for what. It's a big job, stay tuned to Hank's Bible thread. He explains it to Job.

Faith is a gift. Who gets how much and why is up to God. And if you and I could understand this, then He wouldn't be God. You or I would be God.

Hell.

Fruits aren't going to hell any faster than the straight guy stealing from his company or fucking a hooker on the side or sitting in his basement using epithets like "fruits" in discussions on Christian Dogmatics.

That's not what I've heard from our resident Christian expert.

And  at that last line. You're a funny guy.

Now there is a slight caveat that should be added. As with ALL sin, we shouldn't encourage others to commit sins of any kind ... which does emphatically mean that one should be encouraged to not engage in homosexual activities.

BUT that same caveat also says that, for example, I should be encouraged to not say GD or to not hate this or that person or to not wish chas gets raped by a giraffe, no matter how funny it may sound.

So, being a fruit isn't something to be celebrated like it's some great achievement. By the same token, to pick them out and spitefully call them burritos and tell them they're going to hell without any chance of salvation is a terrific way to show that the value of your relationship and knowledge of God is worth approximately 'dick'.

I also don't think being a homersexual should be celebrated any more or less than being a non-fruit.

So engaging in homosexual behavior is a sin DT?

You could read from the Gospel of Ralphus.

I'm quite sure you know the answer; why don't you take a shot at it, champ.

Seacrest will just continue to say that it's God's decision, not his, and then keep on explaining undeniable facts about what God thinks.

In reality, there is no way that any current religion is close to correct. Too many retellings and translations and corruptions by those who use religion to profit.

Be a good person. Do good things. Avoid doing bad things. Avoid immoral drugs. After you die, when they ask why should go to heaven just say you did good things. I can promise you one thing. When you die and are begging to get into heaven, attending church every Sunday and putting money in a collection tray won't keep a good person out or let a bad person in. However, allowing people to pay for "forgiveness" is a great way to pay the bills.

Good works will not get you into heaven. Rick, have you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior?
The Pope has got my back. Maybe he even reads my writings on here.

Wow......that is surprising. Good for him. This Pope seems like he might be the most forward-thinking Pope of recent vintage. Low bar but you have to start somewhere.

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Good has a source. It's name is God. He is only re-iterating what has been taught by others for centuries.
