I wish the Bulls hadn't made it to the ECF in 2011. Perhaps GarPax wouldn't have been misled by the supporting cast's (Boozer, Deng, Noah) potential to help Rose lead the team to the Finals in the coming years.

I can agree on a "legitimate shot" if you lose 3-4, perhaps even 2-4 to a lesser degree, but certainly not 1-4. That's a beatdown. They were dominated.

They lost game 4 in overtime after blowing a 4th quarter lead, they could have come back to Chicago tied 2-2. They then pissed away another 4th quarter lead in game 5. They were hardly dominated.

I'd be tempted to say even a 4-1 series win during which the average margin of defeat for the Bulls was 1 point is still being dominated. There are no flukes in the NBA when everyone is healthy, and 4-1, to me, leans more toward one team dominating the other than it does anything else.

The Bulls lost by 10 and 11 points in Games 2-3, and like you said, lost a lead in the fourth at home during an elimination game. If the argument is the Bulls were not dominated because they were up several times but just came up short in closing it out, then Heat fans could say the same about Miami dominating the Bulls by overcoming double deficit leads to win in the final two games. It was/is a great team to tweak in order to get the right mix, but GarPax mistakenly believe(d) it's still the core to go all the way.
