Super Awesome Micro Project Factoids

More than 500,000 LEGO pieces were used.
The car engine is made from standard Lego pieces and runs on air!
The engine has four orbital engines and a total of 256 pistons.
Top speed is not very fast, around 20-30km (We were scared of a lego explosion so we drove it slowly)
It was built in Romania and shipped to a secret location in suburban Melbourne.
It’s a Hot Rod design, mainly because hot rods are cool.

At the Grand Geneva this past weekend and see the lego model of the 1600 acre complex and it says it is built by "CERTFIED: Lego professional"

LEGO Certified Professionals is a community-based program made up of adult LEGO hobbyists who have turned their passion for building and creating with LEGO bricks into a full-time or part-time profession.

LEGO Certified Professionals are not LEGO employees, but they are officially recognized by the LEGO Group as trusted business partners.

Each LEGO Certified Professional is selected for the program based on his or her:

- Building proficiency
- Enthusiasm for the LEGO brick and building system
- Professional approach towards other LEGO fans and the broader public

Actually, it's no different of an artistic medium than clay or paint.
