A man who was sitting on a bench at the CTA Red Line's North and Clybourn Station early Tuesday morning was robbed at knife point then forced into a nearby alley where he was sexually assaulted.

Preliminary reports said a 24-year-old man was approached by a knife-welding man about 1 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Clybourn Avenue.

The armed man forced to the victim to an ATM machine where the victim took out an unknown amount of cash. The robber then forced the victim into an alley where he sexually assaulted him, said Police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan.

After the attack, the victim went home and called police, he said.

No one was in custody for the attack and police were investigating.

This might have been funny if the robber paid the victim for sex with the money taken from victim's ATM. "Hey buddy thanks for the action, here's a C note for your trouble".
