That's why I posted that. I wasn't seriously trying to be a dick.

Washington yes that is outside Peoria, Galesburg is a stretch, but once you get south of I80 everything is close I guess.

If he's going to claim to be close to Peoria, he's also close to Moline...in other words...

Leashyourkids...Quad Cities...representin'...

You wanna know what a small bumblefuck town I grew up in (outside of GBurg)? We used to drive 40 minutes to Moline for LONG JOHN SILVERS. Yes, we were hillbillies.

How about the show with Chris Cross, Steve Olken, and Tom something (Webb?) on the old WMAQ 670?

Anything with Rosenbloom sucks. His show with Rico was horrible. Rosenbloom thought it was a good idea to record random musings while some Green Day song played in the background. God he's an asswipe.

Honestly for as much as I loved those two goofs the Bear and the Bull was probably worst.

I always thought the worst condition would be to be the kid who grew up in the town of an agricultural area.

I do believe there is a Long John Silvers in Galesburg now. I think I ate there three years ago.

I trained horses in Trivoli for awhile. When I moved to a bigger barn we shipped down to Florida for the winter. It's a common superstition in racing that it's bad luck to ship brooms. One year we were packing the tack up to head north to Maywood and one of my partners was putting the brooms in the trailer. I asked him what he was doing and explained the superstition. He said, "Where the fuck did you learn that stupid shit? Trivoli? It's bad luck if we have to spend money on new brooms at the Walmart in Northlake when we have perfectly good ones we can throw on the truck."

Lol love that story. To further derail this though did you watch Luck and if so did you like it?

Not for this thread Jorr but I hit a tri from Harrahs in Philly harness track. Paid 75 but I boxed so got 37.50.

Actually pittmike it's not whether you had boxed it or not, the reason you got half is that you bet half the amount of what the tri bet is. If you boxed it for$2 you would have gotten the $75

Hmm I am a novice. I paid $6 for the ticket so not sure what I should have done.

The $75 was for a two dollar wager....a box of such would cost you $12.You did a Dollar box thus 1/2 the payout
