Johnny Depp looked a lot like Jack Sparrow at the Hollywood Film Awards on Friday night.

The actor, there to honor Shep Gordon, was barely able to stand up straight as he stammered through his speech to award Gordon, the subject of Mike Myers’ new documentary, “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon.”

“It’s just one of those nights,” he said before CBS appeared to cut him off.

Backstage, Myers called Depp’s expletive-laden introduction “very rock n’ roll.”

Twitter users, meanwhile, thought the actor was simply “wasted.”

To a point, I have this feeling everything with the guy is a bit to be standoffish.

Seen many non PR setup stuff where he is totally normal.

Always have this thought of hollywood people that the are totally different than what they act like when they know the camera is on them. Like seeing Vince Vaughn a couple of times, just acting like a complete douche. You would he would be a great guy. Jim Belushi, pud when people approached him, same with Bill Murray. Maybe it is that the guys who you would think aren't strange or approachable, get bothered all the time and they hate it?

Because meeting Dave Navarro in Vegas, or Spade, these guys were fine, nice guys, not assholes, etc. Some might assume they are going to be assholes.

I've met my share of famous actors and musicians.

Scott Baio was one of the nicest and most polite people I have met.

Slash,Joe Mantegna,the guys from the group Chicago backstage,Norm Van Lier.

2 of the biggest snobs for the minute I was around them were the Ultimate Warrior & Bob Friggin' Sirott was a pompous jerk.

Sirrott I can confirm...prick...and thats when I am with someone who is related to him. he really thinks he is a top celeb, wouldnt even have noticed him if not for the other person.
