Hillary fared much better against Obama than he has against her. Much of his support is arguably a vote against her. It was bound to go to someone and he merely happened to be the lucky guy.

Still bad.

Bill stayed out of wars and benefitted huge from dot com boom, the economy was great.

Hillary is a hawk, she's George Bush all over again.. Lol @ work across party lines LTG- every Republican wants to see her in prison..if she's getting something passed through both parties...its very bad for the taxpayer and good for the banksters controlling her.

Coming from a guy whose sole purpose for posting anything is to critique posters and not posts I consider that a compliment. The next time you address anyone's post without first holding a referendum on them will be a cause for celebration. It will be akin to the sort of gratification that is often found while participating in funeral processions.

She cannot be accused of holding conservative views yet still be unable to work with those that hold such views. Bill Clinton was able to work with Republicans even as they were attempting to have him charged with murder. It is after all politics.

Judging by the rallies, I don't think Bernie Sanders supporters are allowed to watch anything but episodes of Portlandia.

If independents were truly a political force Sanders would run as an independent. The fact that he hasn't demonstrates that there isn't much traction within the independent movement.

I think that is a poor assumption. He initially wanted to run as an independent but his staff talked him out of it. There really is no viable path to the presidency in this country without aligning with one of the two major parties. Many states in closed primaries require you to align as republican or democrat in order to get a ballot... there isn't a similar option for a third party candidate.

I think Sanders has accomplished a great deal in this campaign as he has given voice to those who want to have a more liberal candidate. I don't know that it will have any direct impact on the general election, but it should serve as a reminder to the Dems that there is a strong group of people who want to move further left. Hillary is probably best served by standing where she is right now, but maybe his ideas are worth considering (at least some of them partially.)

Of course he's made an impact. It's undeniable. As usual, LTG and others bring up some dumb shit to try to discredit him while ignoring the fact that Hillary is Satan reincarnate. There's no doubt in my mind that part of the hatred is also because he's a Jew from New England.

I try not to play the identity politics game. It's one of the reasons that I never really took to Obama. I thought it was wrong for blacks to attach themselves to Obama simply because he was a black Democrat. I thought they should have first looked at his history then his policies before voting for him.

:D I've never gotten to play a card other than the discrimination against bald white men. I gotta say it feels good.

Sanders is closing the gap in California.

He is going to be a thorn in her side all the way to the convention.

It appeared as if it would be the other way around. Hillary would make quick work of Sanders while Trump struggled to get to the convention. But Trump is looking ahead to the general election while Hillary still has to deal with Sanders.

Been an amazing year of politics and the best is yet to come

I was hoping for one more Hillary-Bernie debate so the hand-picked moderator could open with "Senator Sanders, before we get to opening statements, why won't you die?"

Yeah you're dead on. It first looked like the Republican Convention was going to be a war, and instead the Dems may have a fight on their hands. Look at what happened in Las Vegas with the Democratic leadership and Sanders supporters. However, ultimately, I think Sanders will stand down and back Hillary.

Trump and Hillary debating is going to be something to see.

I'd say it's been a horrible year and the worst is yet to come.

Politically speaking you very well maybe right.

I was speaking of an entertainment perspective.

Stayed out of Wars?
Somolia,Cole bombing,Missiles flying all over Iraq, he committed troops to Bosnia and Herzegovina, come on man, he was not as bad as some of his contemporaries but he still used to military where it had no business add to the fact that if he did his job there would not have been a 9/11
