No line in Palatine. In and out within six minutes. Then again, the cheapest house in my neighborhood costs $6,000,000.

You live in Palatine? How have we never met before? You need to come out to the next meet-up.

About ten minutes.

If any the election judges were under age 70, I doubt I would have waited longer than five.

Which polling place? I used to go to the school on Smith between NW Hwy and Dundee....I was always in and out within 5 minutes.

I think I've told this before, but I was an election judge in college, and every single other person was at least 70. Most miserable day of my life, BUT... those people take that crap seriously, and they do a hell of a job (slow but thorough).

No wait. My Daughter and I walked into the polling place at 11:30 and walked out at 11:35.

I have voted against retaining judges in every election since 1980.

Remember kids, no matter who wins tonight, not much will change either way. That is unfortunate.

I absolutly love election day & look forward to watching hours of coverage & analyses tonight. However, I also look forward to tomorrow. No more stupid fucking political commercials, & no more campaign work.

A school. The name escapes me. It's a couple blocks SW of Dobby's/Cardinal Liquors.

Yes, sir. And I don't know. Let's Tap House it up sometime. Figured you would be embarrassed to be seen in public with a beta.

They sure do. I listened to this old guy explain the paper ballot to three people in front of me. It must be procedure to explain how to draw a fucking line to everybody, because when he handed me the ballot I said, "Oh I heard you tell the people in front of me how it works, so I'm good." And I wasn't mean or anything either. He glares at me and goes, "Don't you jump the gun! I'll tell you how this works."

I said, "Ok sir," and let him explain away.

I had the option of paper or electronic. I chose electronic requiring a 10 minute wait. If I chose paper I could've chosen MANY open stalls.

Arrived around 4:45 at my polling station.

I waited about 3-5 minutes at the first table, showed my DL and filled out the form- always feel funny signing anything in pencil. I also was fourth in line to hear three explanations of how to vote the ballot, which has changed only a little in the 30+ years I have been voting. I told the gal, I think I've got it. While I was marking my ballot, two of the people who were in the explanation line in front of me returned to the table, he having ruined his ballot and she asking if she was to "circle the arrow thingy or check mark it". Morons. Seems like about a hundred thousand people in the church total, give or take. AND I survived a road detour- clearly voter suppression by the Road Commission. I was ballot number 715, usually around 200 at that time of day.

fyi, only having 2 electronic booths compared to 8 paper booths is clear voter suppression against millenials!
