Oh. Yeah, it is entertaining, although it's not remotely what you describe. It's easily preferable to someone looking like Hatchetman's avatar throwing a bowling ball down a lane.

Most "fights" are exactly what I described. The majority of the time the two fighters are spent grappling with eachother on the mats.

I watch the golf basically every weekend, love both college and pro football, baseball has my attention. I have tried watching the NBA and just can't seem to get into it, but will watch college basketball. Nascar will usually get my attention unless it is a 1 1/2 track, I can't stand those.

"Two men rolling around in their underwear" is how I would expect a woman to describe MMA. It's as dumb as saying baseball is a guy hitting a ball with a stick. Technically it's not a "false statement of fact", but it's a pretty ignorant way to describe a sport.

MANY MMA fights consist of two guys grappling on the mat for several minutes. That is a true statement.

ALL baseball games consist of guys hitting a ball with a stick. Also a true statement. Still ignorant.

This will certainly not be the case with some Sox games this season.

You seen that rotation? I think it will be the case.

Baseball has always been my primary sport. I will have at least one game on a day in the background, I even watched 3 innings of Cardinals-Marlins on Saturday. I do at least one Cubs road trip every year with one of my relatives, this year we're doing 4 games over Memorial Day in LA/SD. I'll go to 2-3 White Sox night games as well if I'm in town and the weather is nice and I can get a ticket in section 110 cheaply on StuHub that morning.

NFL, I really only watch the Bears. 2016, I had the Dallas debacle on the TV in a hotel room, and after that I refused to actively invest any time in them. But if they improve, I'll come back to watch on TV more.

NBA, I haven't watched for at least a decade.

NHL, I'll listen to the Hawks on 720 or watch on Channel 9 if I remember, and if I'm at a hotel with NBCSN or a local sportsnet and there's a hockey game on, I'll put it on. I don't have CSN so I don't watch as many games. For me, a lot of it has to do with the announcers. When Gary Thorne and Bill Clement used to do ESPN2 games 20+ years ago, I'd watch every single one of them. I'm less of a Doc/Eddie fan.

Unless GSP is fighting, then the hugfest lasts 25 minutes.

Worst. sport. ever.

Bunch of haters.

I dont watch as much MMA as I used to mostly because there's too many damn fights on and Im not sitting down for 3 hours worth of shitty fights to enjoy one semi decent main event.

Unfortunately they have watered down the product so much that it's almost killed my interest level.

What a ringing endorsement for golf. probably 85% of the audience I'd assume.

Pretty much all golf, all the time for me. I'll venture into the NBA here and there, too.

Recovering from a hangover in Montreal and unable to get out of bed, I discovered curling after stumbling upon what was at that time the Nokia Brier (now the Tim Hortons Brier). Its the Canadian provinces going head to head and it was fantastic. It happens in March, I'm sure there is on-line streaming of it. If you can find it, I recommend it. Apparently the Canadians only consider the Olympic Championship to be a more prestigious curling event.
