The Obama administration also had a terrible record with pardoning whistleblowers. Something tells me Trump definitely wouldn't have pardoned him. And then who knows how far into the future it would be. If you want to criticize him, fine, but you seem to be ignoring the federal government is more to blame than he is for his actions. They created a situation where a Snowden was inevitable, and also didn't have proper channels in place for whistleblowers to safely come forward.

We are discussing Snowden though. He did a great thing in exposing those secrets. The problem is he then went to a place that is even worse for that kind of stuff, and gave them every piece of information he could and who knows what else he is still doing to keep his elected President of Russia happy.

Right. We are discussing him, but it makes it harder when you ignore the role the federal government played in his decision making. It's the only relevant thing to discuss and you're ignoring it.

The only way Snowden would've received a pardon or commutation of his sentence from Obama is if he turned himself into a woman.

Pardoning Snowden would have been much easier than Manning. What he did was more important and effected more change. A large portion of the population would have supported his pardon.
