I've always heard PH was an inside job. We knew they were coming and it was all setup for them to bomb us so we could get into the war.

I read years ago that our ambassador to the japs knew a year in advance they planned to attack, he was told from another ambassador from Ecuador or Peru.



So yeah, I believe we knew it was going to happen.

it's not a visual doc, it's just a recording of an interview. you can just listen while you go out for a run or @ work or something.

I really do not see what it changes, really. For one it's not like it was American carriers and planes that attacked Pearl Harbor. The Japanese were still responsible for the attack whether we knew it was coming or not.

As for the US knowing...I don't doubt for a second there were indications of an attack. But you don't have to be a history buff to know that 1941 was a busy time for the world, and there were probably rumors like this all the time.

Sounds like someone watched The Final Countdown while high.
