Brothers, as in, siblings born to the same Mom and Dad.

While I agree that this isn’t much of a debate, I can understand where a newbie to the Dead might prefer the slower-ballad version. It doesn’t take much investment into Jerry Garcia’s music to realize that by the mid to late 80’s, MANY of his songs turned into long, drawn-out snoozefests.

Now….Eyes Of the World is one I’d call an exception. That evolved nicely compared to the earlier fast versions
