This should give pause to any sensible person.

Why? I think MANY sensible people will understand the phrase as "the power being wielded in a righteous way" instead of "the power is righteous in and of itself".

I'm quite obviously not worried about sensible people misinterpreting it ...

Uhhhhhhhhh.............

Save that crap for the board dead-enders ... speak plainly to me or piss off .... what are you protesting in my (cut off) statement?

I dont think any sensible, reasonable people will take the "righteous" comment as a fascistic painting of our military power, and the people who WILL take it that way are looking for any reason to take anything that way. On top of that, painting military force as morally just in the face of something like a gas attack isn't at fucking all unwarratned because it was a fucking gas attack. Opposition to gas attacks isn't warranting of primary facie "pause", fuck nut. Plain enough for you?

Act like a dead-ender get treated like one.

Were chemical weapons employed because:

A - they’re cheap to manufacture and Assad didn’t want to use his sparse reserves of good shit
B - the regime was determined to induce suffering for some of class shepherding reasons
C - this was part of some larger purpose to draw a reckless president into making a dumb mistake
D - something-something 4D chess/tinfoil/Illuminati/Putin/cabal of world banks

Perhaps the rebs will persuade Robert E. Lee to defend his native Virginia, and the battle cry shall again rattle the boots of every Yankee traitor within earshot. Hurrah for Dixie!

That was my point ... you sure have a penchant for calling people names for no reason other than juvenile lashing out because someone said something you don't like ... maybe that's why you admire Trump.

Here is what I said again ... perhaps take a moment to (re?)read it and then, while you're at it, learn to spell prima facie correctly (and italicize it at that):

Don Tiny wrote:

It's not gonna do anything for sensible people, but it'll whip up the morons who seemingly want to make him emperor.

In turn, I suggested that a sensible person would ponder the possibility of emboldening the aforementioned evangelical "MAGA" morons and how that almost certainly does no good for the country.

ZOMG SPELLING ERROR.

The use of military might here is in fact righteous, though. Nations at war with one another even agreed to abandon gas attacks almost a century ago. Your "sensible person" should worry about phrasing that may embolden those who would be emboldened by anything because...why? Because you dont like it and feel those people are beneath you?

Would not put it past them or the Rebels themselves. As a reminder,It has just come out that one of the major impetuses for us getting into WW 1 has turned out to be a British falsehood/trick.
