I was genuinely pissed after I moved back here from LA in late March 2001 and Huge and Lou were son thereafter replaced by 3 dopes I never heard of by the time I remembered to start listening to AM1000 again. I was biased against the show to begin with, and my hatred became justified after I listened to this new shit show for a couple weeks.

They said themselves that the first couple years of the show were pretty bad. Your loss for writing them off and missing out on the best AM talk show in Chicago history.

We may disagree on the quality of MJH. There is no disagreement on Huge and Lou. Almost no one listened to that show. The shares they were pulling were lower than Harry's on air BAC

Yeah, I know Lou Canellis has been in Chicago media for a long time but I have never had the slightest reason to think he was ever regarded as being "wildly popular." That's like saying Steve Kashul is "wildly popular."

The insistence of Rosen and Snyder that Teinwitz would be an important part of the show is baffling to me. It seemed pretty clear while the show was on and from reading that article that his contibutions to the show were considered unwelcome and bad by other people involved in the show.
