About the blackhawks. Any good? I might read a book this decade.

Sounds interesting.

Seems like there is also a book called Career Misconduct; appears to be about Bill Wirtz screwing up the franchise.

Wouldn't be surprised the author is connected to the old Committed Indian crew.

I just finished The Breakaway. One part of the book goes into Arthur Wirtz (Rocky's grandfather) and how the Wirtz family accumulated their fortune. Second part basically revolves around Rocky's relationship with his father Bill and Rocky taking over the Hawks. Juicy tidbits regarding Rocky's fractured relationship with his father and siblings (mainly his brother Peter). Worse than I knew. The one issue I would take with the book is that it is all from Rocky's perspective. We do not hear from Peter or his sisters. According to the author they did not wish to contribute to the book. But I would have loved their perspective.

I read Career Misconduct over a decade ago, don't remember too much but the author was the guy behind the Blue Line (from the 1990's). Not sure if he was part of the Committed Indian

Committed Indian was created by dudes in their late 30s (now). I don't think it was them.

Just to add one more thing, one of the best parts of the Breakaway is when Rocky walks into the the Hawk offices for the first time after his father's death. The description of the disfunction in the office was funny but in a very sad way.
