Here I go... from memory...

1 - Want A New Drug
2 - Back In Time
3 - Walkin' On A Thin Line
4 - Heart Of Rock N Roll
5 - If This Is It
6 - Power Of Love
7 - Heart And Soul
8 - Netflix And Chill

That's all I could think of. I'm certainly missing some.

Also: Do you believe in love? And Working for a living.

Fuck, I just realized that I remember six of those pleasant songs

When Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor. In '87, Huey released this; Fore!, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the band itself.

I saw them at a concert at Montrose Beach a couple of years ago. They were great and really appreciative of their fandom. Huey credited Back to the Future with really popularizing the band. I didn't realize he made an appearance in the movie.

They were around for a while before I became aware of them in my youth. They made funny music videos in the time when that was a huge driver for the actual music.

I didn't have cable so I used to watch all the video shows on local tv. Brant Miller used to host something on Friday nights after 10:30. There was another national show on weekends. I think there used to be a morning show on weekdays on one of the precursurs to The U that we used to watch in the caddy shack.

This proves Huey Lewis & the News....underrated.

100% agreed. Great band!

Too bad Huey has the hearing problems and can't do his thing much anymore.
