Back in the day it didn't matter to me, I still had so much residual hate built up for Bird it didn't matter.

Last time I really got upset by a game I had no vested interest in was the Final Four game he knocked off DePaul.

And I love the guy now.

Hated Isaiah Thomas, Bill Laimbeer, and Patrick Ewing then.

Still hate them today.

That's the funny thing, aside from Bird for awhile, my disdain was reserved for the Cowboys and the Cubbies.

Ballplayers just were guys doing their jobs.

Except Cornbread Maxwell. I still despise that sob.
