Looks like stats were pretty bad back then too as it is estimated to have killed 30-60% of Europe’s population. These two diseases seem directly comparable in scale, I mean what is Covid doing about .30-.60% of people that get it?

At the plagues’ rate, we may plausibly hit 90 million American deaths.
