I'm the guy who said if you actually read the Gov's mandates, they don't force you to remain cooped up. I predicted opening things up in early June. I was going to the beach in March and April.

I still think wearing a mask at a store or gas station is the right thing to do. I think social distancing is still a good idea when not wearing a mask...like when I hang out in the neighbor's driveway.

Someone was setting off bombs a block away from me at 11PM last night. I prayed to Allah that the Minnesota cops would show up and then they stopped. I'm going to be pissed if I don't hear a lot of fireworks on Saturday.

Same. I used to go to the lakefront on July 3, but that was to hang out with college friends all day at Taste, and I had a free place in the loop to park my car, in my dad's spot at his store.

The last few years I would go to relatives in Downers Grove for July 4 cookouts, I would leave just before the fireworks started so i could get through 75th street quickly.
