Two prettiest women I've ever known weren't supermodels. They were strippers.

I've often said this. Everybody always assumes that the most beautiful women in the world are famous. Not true. They're strippers or waitresses. Or any other profession. It really is luck of the draw sometimes between being a super model or being a stripper. It's a fine line. You gotta know people or be priveleged most of the time to cross that line.

Not every girl has the fortune of being famous and wealthy for being pretty.

But Ok, if the question is supermodels, then it's Cindy Crawford for me.

don't the job requirements of being freakishly tall (for a woman) and never eating real food lead to super models having sorta mannish faces with a constant in pain expression? Probably why Kate Upton has a pleasant face, she doesn't starve herself for her career.

Kathy Ireland's a good one, the chick from Weird Science was super fine in that movie; but in general probably less tall women who are allowed to eat normally are going to have a more attractive physiognomy. Gimme phoebe cates, halle berry, young sean young, claire robbins (Adrian Lebrasseur).
Grace Jones very striking and I think she modeled, tho nowadays she bleaches her skin like Michael Jackson/Sammy Sosa.

There is such a thing as being "too pretty for hollywood". Rob Lowe complained about not getting serious roles b/c of his looks. Charlize Theron wanted to do Monster to demonstrate she could play ugly. Alicia Silverstone got dinged from the Claire Daines role in My So-Called Life for being too pretty for the role.

Tyra Banks was right up there at her best. Beautiful face. She'd bloat and then drop the weight all the time so she wasn't always the same person from day to day

One of my good friends used to work for Wilhelmina in Paris. I always like to bust his balls about "when he was a male model." He worked in the office. But he got to be friends with Gia and they would drink together. He said she was the only model he ever met who was "a real girl."
