As long as you have all of your documents, its pretty painless. You end up sitting and waiting to get your picture taken and for the cashier longer than anything. I was in at out at Midlothian last June in about an hour.

I bought a decked out 2012 F150 4x4 with like 85k miles on it for 11 grand in 2018 in the middle of nowhere MO. had rear end damage...no frame damage but was totaled anyway. it was worth the hassle. remind me again, but why do you need Real ID if you have a passport ?
