I had one today for 90 minutes before a Plan Commission meeting...we got approval btw.

Once every two months I'll do this during the week...either before band practice or before a mtg.

Now, I'm wide awake...watching finals and typing stuff about naps.

I hate them. If I take one I'll be up til 3 or 4 in the morning thinking if I fell asleep now I could get 3 hours of sleep.

I have this thing where if I stay up past 11 I get what's almost like a second wind and be up til 2. If I go to sleep between 9:30 and 10:30 I'm out like a light.

RIP...

I'm one of those people blessed(?) to survive on about 4 hours of sleep a night on average. Really helps when working a rotating shift plus trying to keep up on the farm work. Last couple of years I have found a new appreciation for the nap. I find the best to be the one that is taken on a day off right at the time you should be heading to work normally. 15-20 minutes is ideal for me, any more and I wake up groggy

If I take a nap, I prefer about a 3 hour one, can get by on 90 minutes... anything less and I kind of feel like it isn't worth the bother.

A guy who's family owned this place used to work with me. His dad also owned a restaurant right there called Mr. Christopher's. One time we were at the Can Can Room in Vegas with this other dope we worked with, a Serbian named Pete. Pete was all fucked up and groping the girls. The bouncer had to keep coming over and warning him. Joey Nap and I were just sitting there with our best strip club manners, but Pete was getting wild.
