It is a given they did. I mean the Democrats worked against them in the last couple elections in Russia. It is our dirty laundry coming home to roost. Is it a good thing, hell no no foreign power should mess in another countries elections/destiny but we have been doing it for a long enough time to the Russians and other countries,ie "nation building". That is was at some point going to come back and bight us in the ass.

I've read the "article" (propaganda) and have yet to find any mention of a direct link to the Russian government or any actual facts or evidence that would prove and validate the assertion made by the intelligence community. Actually, the CIA has even admitted they have no actual evidence to back thei assertion up.

This charade is done for a few reasons:
1.) Obama and the Left are trying their hardest to invalidate the election.
2.) Start a conflict/distraction with the half dead Russian bear, this is the ultimate goal of a few hardliners.
3.) This also dove tails perfectly with the big "Fake News" propaganda push from the Left and their media distractors. Hillary shuffling her corpse out the other day and pimping this garbage prices that they are all moving in unison. "Fake News" and the Progressive Marxists "solution" to it is part of a longer game.

I'll wait for actual facts and evidence to draw a conclusion.

I remember the good ole' days when an acting Secretary of State could actually conduct personal financial business transactions with the Russians and no one would bat an eye. In fact, MANY would come and defend it.

The "Report" doesn't actually say anything, though. It's a leaked report from an anonymous source (oh the irony) and an "unnamed" official that allegedly sat in on one of the meetings. That doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the veracity of anything presented here. At the end of it all you have the report (not just the Yahoo article, but from other places retelling it) state that the "Intelligence Community" (at best) came to a "consensus" on the matter....which can be, essentially, meaningless. The CIA also admits that they have no proof, no facts and no evidence to prove the Russian government was behind all of this or directed any of it.

The lynch-pin of this seems to be that the Obama administration and the intel community (mostly CIA) seem to think that the RNC was hacked as well and the hackers/WikiLeaks didn't do anything with the info. The RNC denies it, says they provided proof that they were secure and the FBI (who seems to be the only organization that actually did a forensic investigation) reported that the RNC wasn't hacked but that individual R's (not in the campaign) were hacked, like Powell.

Now, those would be actual details and facts....these aren't being presented to the public at all. This is narrative shaping by a dying, corned beast desperately trying to live. This is one of their gambits....

The intelligence community even admitted their isn', at this point, any evidence that the Russians were involved in any way. The FBI commented on evidence and facts that it has, the CIA/Intel Community is making assertions and conspiracy theories with, as they have admitted already, no evidence to prove them. In fact, I think it can by theorized that the CIA is now acting to discredit and devalue the 2016 election and, as such, is doing the work that they assert the Russians are doing. Kind of funny, Obama, Reid and the rest are the ones carrying Putin's water.

More interesting is that this "story"( ) is being deployed in unison by all of the key players, all at the same time, with the same narrative tropes and selective information peddling. They are, quite literally, reading off the same script. Same language, same implied understanding, same anonymous sources and the same non-truths.... Example: Andrea Mitchell ststing in an article that the CIA "confirmed" that the Russians are behind Trump being elected. None of that is true, nor does the leaked "story" prove Mitchell's assertion. But it's printed anyways.

Also, no one has even stated what they think the Russians actually did....just that they "influenced" the election in some way....I think, maybe. No one knows, but trust the CIA and current admin. Even though they already admitted they have zero evidence or proof or facts at this time and the whole "story" is a leak from an anonymous source. The Washington Post is already taking a step back as well, especially about the phony fake PropOrNot hoax.

Common sense and critical thinking is being used here, just not by Nas.

Very important here, CH, Podesta wasn't hacked by a nefarious shadow group in an underground bunker with billions of dollars of computer equipment...they did it to themselves. Your post is totally false. Not providing the public with the intelligence they have isn't the same as not having any intelligence that links Russia. Every step of the way Trump has blown kisses at Putin and the Russians have hacked and leaked valid information that ONLY hurt Democrats and pushed fake news that ONLY hurt Hillary and Democrats. Separately, another source briefed in the intelligence told NBC News that the U.S. government has identified specific Russian actors it believes were involved in the hacks, based on intercepted communications, human source tips and computer forensics.
