Does it help that I have a season pass there?
Oh wait, probably not.

My freshly-mulched yard looks fantastic.

Good luck with the inspections, you picked a great time to go on the market!

As it starts on July 1, I have doing fun stuff since school ended. Monday, my wife and I dropped my kids off at school and went kayaking down the Schuylkill River. Today, we dropped the kids off at school and went to Hershey Park.

Is the entire park made of free chocolate? Please tell me it is.

Congrats.

Yes it is. (Not really, but it smells like chocolate and vanilla). And the rollercoasters are pretty fun.

So it’s a real park? I thought you were using a euphemism for anal sex.

 Thinking the same thing

Hersheypark is really a great destination trip and don't know why it isn't advertised more widely. It is Disneyesque in its size with 3+ hotels including a world class resort, shuttle buses from the lodging to the park, a large outdoor venue an indoor one and the Hershey factory tour. I bet I have been there five times. I'd love it and recommend a stop over in your car trips to the east coast.

Really, the whole town of Hershey is fantastic, we are there alot and if it were about 15-20 minutes closer to my work, we would be living there. On Friday, we were leaving the park while the Def Leppard/Journey concert was going on. From the season pass parking lot, we could see into the stadium and watched the end of Def Leppard's act.

+1 on Hershey Park. I went there many times as a kid back in the 70's and then brought my own kids there 3 or 4 years ago and we had a fantastic time. They have some awesome roller coasters.

Well last time around the block for me. My son and namesake last child graduated high school tonight. Very proud and also happy to move this last one forward in the process. Won’t miss much about HS and kids for a while.

Same here in two weeks, but college football camp starts for him shortly thereafter. Empty nest syndrome won't help the long drives through the midwest.

I hope he leaves his slob tendencies here at home though.

So true. It is amazing what $250-$500 of mulch can do for the looks of a place.

A close friend's only kid is graduating today. I asked her if she was going to cry. She said she might cry because he doesn't leave for college for two more months.

Dr. Ken Jr. I had his UofI Summer Orientation today to sign up for his classes.

Dr. Ken Jr. II got his PSAT results from his high school Freshman test and got a perfect score.

Dr. Ken Original is having a drink to celebrate.

Dr Ken, how do you feel about adopting an immature but kind hearted 42 yr old man? I can move in right away.
