I don't have any real sympathy for Chas but I'm not sure why banning resolves anything. It's not like he's posting pro-pedo comments that would make his background relevant to a generally anonymous message board.

The thing I don't get here is what is stopping other offenders or criminals or whatever from signing up and posting? How do we know that current posters outside of chas are not similar offenders or what have you? Do posters need to be vetted before signing up? Just not a coherent position in my opinion even though I sympathize with it. Fact is offenders use the internet, even this site The threatening one's family thing is a different category. Wasn't around for that I don't think but that's definitely outside the lines.

No one likes chas, but he's done nothing to deserve being banned. How the fuck does his legal status, which none of us know the details of, have anything to do with his message board posting? No one replies to him because it's often not worth replying to.

If anything, he should absolutely be the one who is pissed. Posting that was wrong from all parties involved and actually did involve the message board.

As so often happens I am completely confused by this whole thread. I don't understand the target of the O.P. Nor do I get why it is (apparently) so offensive. Something about a stay at home dad and bread earning wife? Sounds great to me. Why would anyone care about that? I also don't understand why the normally even-keeled and always sardonic Doc has taken such umbrage to Chas needling Chus so long after the doxxing incident. Finally we all love both Doc and Chus so wtf is going on around here!!!



I think Doc is pissed because Chas is a certified pedophile and people are just meh about it. Dont want to offend the pedophile here and you know you have to keep the pedophile happy for some reason. I think outsiders looking in would say banning a guy like that would probably be for the best.

Im confused by the timing of Doc 's reaction. His posts would make more sense if Chas had started this thread.

The back and forth Chas and Chus had in this thread has happened a bunch of times since the Doxxing. Nothing new or original about it.
