That is possible. There are some caveats though. There are a lot of people you don't want for a son-in-law, including a number of stereotypical males across all races that have no job, do drugs, are in gangs, promiscuous, etc. If you want the best thing for your daughter your hope is that it's a decent guy who makes enough to support her. It isn't as much about what the person looks like as it is a good match.
The problem is that when you undertake an interracial adoption or marriage is that there are certain added issues on top of the regular challenges and difficulties. The black white marriage is a bigger issue than say any of the other possible combinations. A child of that marriage is considered black because one parent is black just like Barack Obama. He's considered fully black despite being half white.
People spin it off as though there are these white supremacists who are the racist ones. But the reality is that there are racist people from every race, including blacks. There are black people and white people who don't like black and white marriage, but that doesn't automatically mean they're racists. It just means they have a different sets of values, personal beliefs or preferences than what is presented in a Cheerios commercial.
