Ok, so are all stereotypes incorrect? Hell, I am a White Male from McHenry.

I drive a puckup truck.
I own several shotguns.
I have a 9mm in my bedroom.
I have a shaved head.
I have a firepit in my back yard.
I believe I have seen a UFO.
I vote republican.
I have shot my own dinner.
I have a straw hat.
Once I set my own shirt on fire by spraying gasoline on a fire.
I have built several potato cannons, and took a high velocity potato in the stomach once on a drunken dare. (I had a football sized bruise for 4 weeks.)

In my experience it is pretty true. I have not had the opportunity to meld into an immersion in a Black community though. I have found the similar experience in the Army. I became so close to many that I had to learn again what I cannot say after I was no longer with them.
