It's way wrong unless the student is a grad student over, say, 27 or 28.

I take no offense and agree. It's taking advantage of someone you have power over. Hell, I will not even hire college students to be a babysitter or dogsitter because I don't want even the look of favoritism.

Its like they refuse to use a conventional spelling. They really like to substitute a "Y" for usual vowels in an attempt to sound fancy.

i.e. "Addisyn" or "Addyson" instead of Addison, etc.

Its rabid, and ridiculous, and just makes them sound like total inbred rednecks.
