My grandparents used to own hundreds of acres up there in the 60s-80s so that was our summer vacation every year until college. I love it there as well. Could do some fishing, either charter on Lake Michigan or on some of the inland lakes. Can do some biking or hiking, there are some pretty good trails in Peninsula State Park.

We went to Boston 2 years ago. They really liked that. My husband likes active trips. I like event & food trips. I should ask them what they like more. What did you guys like or what was a good trip/good place to go? I was thinking Savannah or one of the Carolinas next. I'd like to do DC for my daughter but I don't know what's open. NYC or Seattle when it's not a disaster which seems like it will be a few years.

Savannah was really cool. Was there this past October. Would love to go back non-Covid. Also stayed at Daufuskie Island. Good place to unplug. Would have preferred Hilton Head. Asheville, NC would be a place to check out, too.

Went to Savannah 25 years ago with a buddy and loved it. We drunkenly went up that river walk I believe they had and ended up in an Irish bar with about 5 people in it and an old Irish guy with a guitar singing anything we’d suggest. It was like a drunken Irish private concert.

We also hit one of a street fair at one of the squares trying to raise money to restore an old theater there. Saw it on This Old House a few years later.

Great city.

MFers! Did you guys watch the ABC7 10pm news. I have it saved if you need it but I’m sure it is online. Please educate yourself. It is nearly as annoying as my continued attempts to draw attention to it.

Cheryl Scott is mocking me with her hand movements by the way. I’m certain she’s upped her theatrical hand game just to spite me.

This reads like a post that a court would use as evidence.

Would one find that on their website? Was just there and I had no idea what to even look for.

Don’t actually look for it. I was just joking.

They just used the phrase The Bridge Phase about 6 times minimum in the first 3 minutes.

Easy city to walk around in. If you go away from the river, you see all the old houses and huge trees with Spanish moss. Almost like being in New Orleans. Lotsa funky little shops as well.

We found a rooftop bar along the river so we hung out there for most of one day. Found a brewery that was average. But yeah, the river walk area is great. That’s the place to be post Covid.

We never bridge phased down here so no use of that term. Unprecedented is finally out of the vocab here.

I’m glad Young Squirrel survived and grew up to be Drunk Squirrel.

I went looking for it as well because in these unprecedented times we are all in this together and I was trying to support you into the bridge phase.

Would it kill Snoop Dogg to use a cork for his wine? The Bandit is a bigfan of the Cali Rose and my hands are old and arthritic.

And while it does provide me the opportunity to use the classic “Shall I unscrew that for you...” line, how much money does one man need to make? You have to be able to live comfortably on “G” Thang money. I’ve probably spent $30 over the years on some version of that song alone.

Put a cork in it.

Had some leftover longganisa sausage from breakfast (fine Filipino cuisine), cubed and pan-fried and put it on a Lottza Mottza cheese pizza. I’m on to something.

Telegram Sam needs to review a possible Filipino burger, maybe some Spam involved.

I was at Seafood City last weekend. There is an impressive variety of Spam.

The selection of sausages rivaled anything I encountered when I lived in Boystown in the mid-90s.

Is it still called Boystown or is that not allowed? Great neighborhood. To paraphrase Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets, if that did it for me I’d be the luckiest man alive.

I was constantly being hit on.

I wondered for a while if I had chosen the wrong team.

Maybe.

I’d have to check with Brick to make sure I’m not getting the opportunity due to my story and was getting the second chance based on my skills.

The closest bar to the apartment Mrs. Post and I lived in when we got married was a gay bar. Because I like to drink and am lazy I would often just go there.

Many nights I returned to the apartment with a way higher self image than when I left.

Also gave a power pack blood donation yesterday so I am getting the booze benefits of that tonight.

Usually can get real high on booze for like three nights after the donation. It’s fun, I recommend it.

A friend of mine lived there around 1990. Interesting neighborhood. Never had an issue there. Also never been to the Man Hole or The Vortex.

Woah, had no idea Richmond went that far west. The two post kids always ask about the longest street in Houston - will have to show them and talk to the, about Richmond, a street we ride bikes on.
