Ehh... Maher's good, dude. He's one of the few "Liberals" (although I don't think that title really fits him well) who will go against the grain on issues like political correctness, Islam, or any number of issues. He also doesn't play into identity politics. His assertion here that he had anything to do with Milo's resignation is ridiculous, and I agree with you that he was basically in love with Milo for both the interview and Overtime. That said, he's one of the good ones.

i dont know... i remember that interview, and maher seemed to believe the shit that guy was saying about cancer... and what he was saying was 100% bullshit. it was bad enough that maher has never even mentioned that guy since... it was like it never happened.

but i do agree monsanto is horrible... just evil... but i also understand GMO's are not bad in themselves, as long as the processes you apply for them are tested and respected.

will be fun to see how maher downplays this one, because its actually more blatant and worse than what milo said. its really the same exact thing. both of them are wrong because the law says fucking anyone under 18 (or 16 at worst) is not legal. the reason is because children are susceptible to influence... so even if they think its ok it likely isnt. it doesnt matter if one incident ended up working out... that has nothing to do with the moral of the law.
