Quick segue away from that topic.

My daughter busted her butt this winter applying for scholarships while taking Fall classes and working an internship the Winter semester. She landed two, which will cover all her graduate tuition for the next two semesters, and should complete her Masters degree debt free. She is on pace to have $50K in savings toward a down payment on a home/condo when she starts her career.

Thanks to all of you for the kind words, I guess I have had some effect on my daughter, but the majority of the work has been her own, the scholarships are a great reward for the work. I know the writing skills she uses on the essays required by the scholarships are in no way reflective of my personality or ability, even my Wife wonders where she gets her writing talent.

Not paying tuition is a wonderful thing, especially after ten years of it!
