Part of the bonus of finishing the bathroom project we were working on at home is that the remodel essentially created a space for me to put a desk in the guest room and made myself a little office rather than working at the kitchen table. No huge surprise, the room has a bit of a golf theme to it. I just got a 24 x 36 framed picture of that iconic Ben Hogan 1 iron shot from Merion to put above the desk on the wall. I think it is going to look pretty sweet once I get it hung up.

Kudos to whoever set up this Covid shot facility in Elgin at the Eastside Rec building. Lots of open appointments. Got in and got my shot in 2 minutes. National Guard helping to run the place. Easier than ordering fast food.

Young Crest his his first HR of the year yesterday.

And was asked to play in the All State Hoops game in June, at Pontiac High School, earlier in the week.

And he is accepting an 80% tuition scholarship today in Texas.

Kid has had a good week.
