Well their union could do a lot of illegal things and then be forced to stop. I don't know why that is relevant.

They can do a lot to strip public sector unions of their power though like they do with it being illegal to strike.

No fucking way. Entire wars are fought over terrorism, regimes are toppled and famines are spread. Cops shooting unarmed teenagers has nowhere near that scope.

Ok, I meant in the United States. In the US it's no argument which one is worse, but globally you are right that terrorism is worse.

It does bring up some interesting thoughts though and why I made my advanced metrics comment earlier. People in charge know where most crime is and generally who is doing it. The FBI for chrissakes has a job of profiler that has targeting as their only job.

Judging a whole group of people by the actions and ideas of a few is prefectly acceptable.

Yep. Always a scene every episode in FL and TX. Runners up are Cali, Washington, and Vegas. Vegas scenes are usually entertaining... Fuck, I gotta find something better to do with my days off.

A black person has a much higher chance of getting harassed by police then a white person does. I'd like to think that it is getting better but who the hell knows...

In Oak Forest and the surrounding areas, I'd say 90% of people I see pulled over are dark skinned

Do you yell at the police as you observe all those stops?

The best was the prostitution sting where they dressed the cop up as a clown to catch the whores. That was in Tampa, right across the bay from me. Cops is cool, even better is Jail. That shit is wild. There was one they asked this tiny little woman how much she had to drink and with a total straight face she went" not enough"

Couple things I learned from Cops:
Don't fuck around in Texas, they pull the taser quick
2 townies always lose in Vegas
3 If they say they got a dog and they are sending it in give up,if you touch the dog you get at least another felony

I work with a guy who said Obama disrespected the troops by saying "lives were wasted in the Iraq war"

That's the kind of mindset I see a lot

TBH, I usually think to myself "man I'm lucky to be white"

Also I drove for work for a long time so I saw a little more than the average

Some of the hillbillies in my club are over the top. They will seek out cops to go thank them for their service. Service? The guy is sitting there eating a funnel cake and hitting on teenage girls.

I see this often too. Like cops are some sort of sainted hero instead of just a workaday schlub like the rest of us. It definitely ties into the boner that America has for the troops too.

Even tho most days I cannot stand Stephen A, he really ended the debate about outrage for me with those facts.

Tax payers should be infuriated by that, but no one will give a shit.

I'm getting fed up, Nas! Let's go march on Washington!
