wow you must not know how to google
here are the Italian numbers

https://www.epicentro.iss.it/coronavirus/bollettino/Report-COVID-2019_20_marzo_eng.pdf

United States numbers

https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2765184

WTF do any of you know how to do simple research? Fuck and you all call me ignorant and stupid. These last couple of pages illustrate that the majority of you are nothing but to put it simply fucking morons who are almost incapable of using a keyboard. No wonder so many of you have issues with the search and quote functions,Jesus Christ on a crutch.

Chas you cannot spell and your use of language is atrocious. You use words that aren't actually words. I'm also thoroughly convinced that you couldn't pass the basic skills portion of the test for that "real" job that educators aren't supposed to have. Nor could you pass a GED exam. Who the hell are you to be on a damn high horse?

May have been before your time round these parts but several of us took an IQ test. If I remember only one other person scored higher than me. Once again, you get all pissy when you are proven wrong . I have done so to you over the last two days in a couple of threads. Instead of admitting you keep going never once admiting you are incorrect or that anyone who has a seperate wouldview than you could in fact be correct. Get your ass out of here.

The US ranks 35th healthiest country. Italy is near the top. Your claim that they have more comorbity than the US is bunk.

They do have a lot of old people.

So Bloomberg encouraging people to drink less sugary drinks is somehow a bad thing?

Some people say, well, taxes are regressive. But in this case, yes they are. That’s the good thing about them because the problem is in people that don’t have a lot of money. And so, higher taxes should have a bigger impact on their behavior and how they deal with themselves. So, I listen to people saying ‘oh we don’t want to tax the poor.’ Well, we want the poor to live longer so that they can get an education and enjoy life. And that’s why you do want to do exactly what a lot of people say you don’t want to do.

The question is do you want to pander to those people? Or do you want to get them to live longer? There’s just no question. If you raise taxes on full sugary drinks, for example, they will drink less and there’s just no question that full sugar drinks are one of the major contributors to obesity and obesity is one of the major contributors to heart disease and cancer and a variety of other things.

Bloomberg encourages less sugary drinks.

Also, a pragmatist during a pandemic "has blood on his hands".

Saying that the taxation of sugary drinks (which oddly taxed sugar free drinks here) is to encourage one to drink less soda is like saying inheritance taxes encourage people to not die.

I'd be good with banning HFCS.

Yeah. Bloomberg was just another ten cent dictator who believed that what he believed is how all people should believe.

Its an oddly political reason HFCS is more common than regular sugar.
