Porkchop would absolutly be the wrong choice. He would bring nothing to the ticket. Kasich makes the most sense. Trump also really likes Carson. Not sure what Trumps relationship with Nicky Haley is but she would certainly help him with women & southern voters.

I dont think Newt brings anything to the ticket. He's got too much baggage and is a bit of a retread. Kasich would be a better choice as he brings in moderates and helps in the swing state of Ohio, and is very likeable and relates to the average Joe.

I'm sure this was one of the topics during the Paul Ryan "unity" conversations.

I honestly have no idea. Kasich makes the most sense, but we'll have to see.
