Her daily routine and needs were completely different from ours and she didn't really warm up until she got to wandering around Hyde Park with me where she could buy a few things from home. In fairness, we probably could've been a lot better prepared.

Despite all we went through, she was oddly sad when we took her to O'Hare. Fwiw, my sister right then decided that she didn't want to be sent to France. (Probably for the best)
