Congratulations. You finally boiled down Hillary Clinton's campaign for President. "I'm not Donald Trump!"
I think it is pretty funny that ltg can actually say that Donald Trumps racism has been ignored.

Have you been paying attention for the past year?

That doesn't make sense. Hillary has been around for 30 years. I would say all of us know what she is BUT people continue to post and comment on things like this. While the president has been around for a while we are all learning about him. These people not only refuse to post about Trump's bigotry but they're usually defending him.

Not about Hillary or Trump it's about the fake outrage by some on here namely the hypocrisy of Curious Hair. Do you really think Curious Hair is a Trump supporter? You just have a blind spot when it comes to Hillary Clinton.

For all your talk of southern racism LTG there really isn't a pinch of discomfort when reading that first post?

While that may be true he's criticized her. Some post in political threads often and have only defended the president. So if they know what he is or can be they must agree with him. That explains the lack of criticism.

I'll let CH take out the words I'm gong to put in his mouth, but I'm pretty sure he thinks Trump is racist. CH's beef with Clinton appears to be of that subtle racism of low expectations ilk.

Has he ever felt strong enough to comment? Doubt it and I'm sure he never felt strong enough about it to start a thread.

The use of prisoners, whom society believes have no rights isnt really racist or even oppressive. Trump has used illegals for exactly the same purpose and there wasn't a peep made on here about lest it be from "anti Trumpets".

This is a non story if it's anyone but Hillary Clinton..Thats my point.

The usual paragons of virtue (when Hillary is concerned) have yet once again arrived with their sometimey delicate sensibilities on full display. Next...

And Bills, it's very common down south. Routinely seeing actual chain gangs is much much more disconcerting in comparison. But the usuals don't give a damn about them in the rest of Dixie

It's a bit condescending and actually maternal which is synonymous. A little uneasy but I'm sure there were white convicts involved in this "slave labor" too.

As is the case with the oft mentioned "super predator" comment it's a misrepresentation of what was said. Hillary Clinton was referring to gang bangers when she made that particular comment. It was taken to mean all black people. She didn't reference all black people she referenced gang bangers.

You know which group believes that they are gang bangers?other black people. They believe that gang bangers are super predators too. You know why? Because they are.

I'm asking your opinion. Regardless of the bad memories it could harken back to for some, I don't think it's cool at all. White, black, Latino. It's just not good.

in my opinion, anyone that is for using prison people as labor, especially to "save costs" is pro-slavery at heart. The race being "employed" is no matter to me.

A little quick research told me Florida and Arizona are the only two states who use chain gangs anymore. So it's not a widespread southern epidemic.

There have been hundreds of pages bashing Donald Trump, but no one has said he has been racist? Come on LTG.

He never said no one. At least 1 poster has NEVER criticized the president and does nothing but defend him. It's fair to wonder why.

I'm waiting for that to disappear to be honest. In the 80's my brother did it in western Kane and Probably Dekalb county for Dekalb. When I was old enough to do it there had been a minor accident with one of the buses and Dekalb and Pioneer stopped hiring kids for that territory, at least temporarily. They probably contract it out now as the ones around here don't work for seed corn companies but detassling ones unless they are working at research farm. Had a kid die just a few years ago up in sterling area while detassling. Pivot got her. Sad.

Unfortunately for Clinton supporters, the reality is that the most effective enablers of Trump's neofascism are the champions of neoliberal dogma. That is, neofascism is nothing other than a logical outgrowth of neoliberalism due to the reactionary ideologies austerity measures and the war on the idea of the "common good" breed in the working and lower middle class.

There's also the "small" matter of the Clinton campaign deliberately choosing to "elevate" Trump's candidacy during the Republican primaries to ensure that Trump would be Hillary's opponent in the general election.

One could reasonably argue that the culmination of the Clinton legacy is the Trump era.
