Brick and JORR aren't really stubborn exactly. What they both have is a pathological need to argue and bicker. They don't necessarily need to win, and really the longer they have you on the hook the better.

I think if you said to Brick "Fine! You're right about everything! Happy now?" he would disagree and try and rope you into an hour long argument about how he is right (about himself being wrong) and you are wrong (about him being right). Both are good posters though.

We all have a streak of this in us, I think it's requisite for being on these ancient types of forums that are basically monuments to the halcyon days of internet bickering, but those two are a class their own.

I was deposed recently, and it had been the first time in awhile... it was a tough draw on my part with a myriad of weird circumstances. But I kid you not - arguing with you obstinate jack asses day after day sharpens one’s ability to deflect and make everything about semantics. It went half as long as scheduled and I think the attorney just got worn down.

Except he's winning the poll. Granted, it's a plurality of votes, but he is taking on some real CFMB heavyweights and is ahead by 50% of his next closer competitor. LTG and Chus are no slouches. They can persist long after others have folded.
