Interstate Love Song

I had just lost my job so I went and hung out at ISU for a week with some friends who were going there. Listened to that song quite a bit hanging out at their pool.

Back in Black- I was thirteen, and they say that music from that era in your life imprints on you unlike any other. Listening to Steve and Garry, working my first off-farm job, getting really into sports.

About ten years ago, we took the kids to Mexico on vacation, and the resort played that Beyonce song about "put a ring on it" at 250dB every five minutes at the pool/beach. Can't stand the song any more than my kids can stand me.

I was in high school when this came out, but there was so much controversy, because the adults could not clearly understand the word repeated after the title, they assumed it must be profane, and thus demonized. I just asked my wife, and we still don't know for sure.

Kenny Chesney has a song called ,I go back. Talks about this. SOme songs can take you back to a moment of time and stop tyou dead or you cant turn them off no matter if they are what you normally listen to or not.

Freshman football, after practice I had an old boom box stuffed in my locker and would bring it out and play the cassette single of "Epic" while cleaning up after practice. Most everyone liked that song quite a bit. By the end of the season someone had broken into my locker and stolen my little boom box so
maybe not everyone liked it as much as I thought. I bought a lot of cassette singles back in the day.

I wonder if that song ever spurred any guys to rush into a marriage they later regretted. Imagine all the failed marriages that song mighta caused.
